About CrewMeasure

Measure once, carry it through
Most field math gets scattered: a roof area on a phone note, a stud count in a text message, a material list rebuilt from memory at the supply counter. CrewMeasure keeps the job together. Enter a measurement once and it carries into the calculators that need it, with every assumption visible and editable, and the quantities coming out the other end as a material list you can hand to a supplier or price into a proposal for the customer.
Numbers you can stand behind
A quantity is only worth anything if you can defend it when someone asks.
Every formula is open. Tap through to the arithmetic, the assumptions, the rounding rule and the source behind any number on the screen. Nothing is a black box, because you are the one who has to answer for it.
It won't guess. When a material depends on something the calculator cannot know — how many corners the walls turn, what size the panels are — CrewMeasure names the missing line instead of inventing a number. An omission you can see beats a plausible figure you cannot check.
It ships no prices. You set your own material costs once, and they are yours. A price CrewMeasure invented would end up on a document your customer signs.
Ordering is part of the answer. Lumber comes in fixed lengths, thinset covers what the bag says it covers, and carpet comes off a roll of fixed width. CrewMeasure works out what to actually buy — and shows you what the offcut pile costs before you order.
Works where the work is
The whole thing runs on your device. Calculators, material lists and PDF export all work in a basement, a crawlspace, or a new build with no service — not a degraded offline mode, the same app. Install it to your home screen and it behaves like any other app on the phone.
Code-referenced, not a code authority
Some calculators are plain geometry. Others draw on published industry and code-referenced data, and where they do, the source is named on the screen.
Code-referenced is not the same as locally code-compliant. Always verify against your locally adopted codes and amendments, manufacturer instructions, permit conditions, loads, clearances and the field conditions in front of you. CrewMeasure is a measurement and calculation tool. The judgement stays with the person on the job.
